Join us for an authentic and immersive experience of the breathtaking Motu that is Waiheke Island. Our tour includes a visit to three of the best vineyards on the island for delicious tastings, along with stunning scenery and informative commentary. For lunch, we will take you to the beautiful award-winning 372 beachfront restaurant in Onetangi, awarded one Hat in the latest Cuisine Good Food Awards. Enjoy a mouth-watering lunch with a glass of wine. Our tour ends with a safe return to the Matiatia wharf at approximately 3:45 pm.

 

Itinerary:

 

  • 10:00 AM – Depart from Auckland via ferry to Waiheke Island.
  • 10:40 AM – Upon arrival at Matiatia Wharf on Waiheke Island, your tour guide will meet you with a signboard.
  • 11:00 AM – Visit the cellar door of Cable Bay Vineyards. Here, you can explore a variety of hand-picked and harvested award-winning wines produced on Waiheke Island and Marlborough.
  • 12:00 PM – Enjoy lunch with a glass of wine at the award-winning beachside restaurant, 372!
  • 2:00 PM – Experience a wine tasting at Postage Stamp, Waiheke Island’s newest rustic boutique winery. Taste a selection of wines in this unique setting.
  • 3:00 PM – Visit Stonyridge Vineyard, nestled in a shimmering valley of olive trees and colorful vines. Here, you can enjoy wine tasting and the aromas of the south of France.
  • 4:00 PM – Depart Waiheke Island via Fullers sailing to Auckland Downtown Ferry Terminal.

  • Fare: Return trip costs $59.50 NZD.

  • Recommendation: Arrive at least 60 minutes before departure to ensure timely boarding, as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Island Direct Ferry to Matiatia Wharf

  • Departure Point: Downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal, 117 Quay Street (Pier 13).
  • Schedule: Regular departures throughout the day.
  • Duration: Approximately 40–45 minutes.
  • Fare: Return trip costs $55 NZD.
  • Booking: Seats can be pre-booked online at Island Direct.

3. Sealink Ferry to Kennedy Point

  • Departure Points:
    • Half Moon Bay Terminal: 36 Ara Tai Road, East Auckland.
    • Central Auckland Terminal: 56 Hamer Street, Wynyard Quarter.
  • Duration: Approximately 50–60 minutes.
  • Note: Primarily a vehicle ferry but also accommodates foot passengers.
  • Booking: Tickets and schedules available at Sealink.

What is the cancellation policy?
