Waiheke Island Tours

Waiheke Island is just a 40-minute ferry ride from Auckland’s Downtown Ferry Terminal. Ferries run frequently throughout the day. Most of our tours begin at Matiatia Wharf, where you’ll be greeted by your guide.

Ferry tickets are not included unless otherwise specified. You can easily book your ferry via the Fullers360 website or we can help guide you through the process when you book your tour.

Please note that the Waiheke Scenic Wine Tasting Tour stops for lunch at The Batch winery but lunch is not included in the tour price and is payable directly at the venue.

We recommend comfortable footwear (especially for ziplining or vineyard walking), a light jacket, sun protection and a reusable water bottle. Don’t forget your camera – views are spectacular!

Absolutely! Non-drinkers are welcome. Many wineries offer non-alcoholic options or you can simply enjoy the scenery, food and company.

Our Waiheke tours begin on the island, so you’ll meet your guide at the ferry terminal (Matiatia Wharf).

Note that there is no minimum age for ziplining at EcoZip Adventures on Waiheke Island, but participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum weight is 30kg (66lbs) and the maximum is 125kg (275lbs).

Because we work with a select group of trusted local tour providers, cancellation policies may vary slightly depending on the tour. Most providers offer a full refund with at least 24 to 48 hours’ notice, but this can differ based on the type of experience, group size or seasonal factors.
