The tour spans 2 days and 1 night, with early morning departure from Auckland on Day 1 and return to Auckland in the evening on Day 2.

Comfortable overnight accommodation in Paihia is included (3 to 4-star hotel). Standard is twin-share, but private upgrades are available (select during booking for an additional NZD$150.00).

This is a small group tour, limited to 16 passengers or fewer, ensuring a more intimate, flexible and personalised experience.

You’ll enjoy a scenic Hole in the Rock cruise, which explores the beautiful Bay of Islands.

The cruise runs for 4.5 hours, taking your on a scenic journey through the Bay of Islands and along the Cape Brett Peninsula.

Expect views of remote islands, marine wildlife (often dolphins) and the chance to cruise through the iconic rock formation – weather permitting.

Meals are not included, but there are stops at recommended local eateries and plenty of free time to dine at your own pace. Accommodation includes access to nearby restaurants and cafés.

Since meals are self-selected, guests with dietary restrictions can choose suitable options during stops. Let your guide know if you’d like help finding vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or allergy-friendly meals.

Yes, children aged 2 years and older are welcome. However, please consider the duration and overnight nature of the trip when booking for young children.

A basic level of fitness is sufficient. The tour includes light walking and optional short hikes. The cruise is suitable for most mobility levels.

The tour departs from central Auckland, with hotel pick-up options available. You’ll return to Auckland on the evening of Day 2, dropped off at your original pick-up point.

If your accommodation isn’t listed below, you can simply select the closest option and meet us there.

The tour operates in most weather conditions. If the cruise is canceled due to rough seas, you will be offered an alternative activity or partial refund for the cruise portion.

Our trusted operator offers a full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the tour or are late for your pickup, no refund will be provided. However, you may be able to claim through your travel insurance.

If your tour is cancelled due to reasons like weather conditions, you will be issued a full refund.
