Important Information for your helicopter flight
- There is a weight limit of 130 kilograms / 286 pounds per person
- It is important to note that the Milford Sound helicopter tour is very dependent on the weather. The decision to fly is made by our Heli tour partner on the day.
- If the flight does not take place, you will remain with the main tour group in your vehicle and be refunded the helicopter portion of your day tour ticket immediately.
- Fiordland weather is very changeable, and while it may seem sunny and fine in Milford Sound, the mountain ranges create their own systems of weather & wind that pilots must consider. Safety is our first priority
- The return helicopter flight requires a minimum of 3 people to fly. We join with other tours to do our best to make the flight travel and most of the time this occurs.
